Our Story
BK Juic'N is a minority and women owned juice line dedicated to providing healthy options.
Where's Brooklyn at? I am a product of the infamous Brooklyn NY. Anyone who knows us Brooklynites, we love our borough and rep it to the fullest.
I love and accept the good and bad things about Brooklyn. It was exciting being in the middle of hip hop history, being filled with so much love you forget that you're poor. My mom pulled miracles out of her hat when it came to food to eat, alot due to limited and unhealthy food choices. Our supermarkets were very limited in produce and filled mostly with microwaveable and "made in minutes" processed meals. I didnt understand the disparities until I was an adult on my own.
Brooklyn has definitely changed over the years and it's still an arguement whether for the better or the worse. There is still an overwhelming difference in healthy food optionals from one neighborhood to the next. In prodominently African American communities fruits and vegetables are still scarce and limited.
Our focuses are underserved communities where more African Americans, women and other minority groups reside. Our focus is hydroponics to naturally obtain fruits and vegetables. Growing hydroponically allows for fresh out-of -season and organic produce and gives room to raise the bar for higher standard of quality.
